Amazon is offering free digital and applied digital thermometers to customers of its Fire smartphones, tablets and TVs, Amazon said Monday.
The company will offer the digital thermography, which can be used to measure temperature and humidity, for a limited time only through December 31.
Customers can apply online, in person or over the phone to request the free digital or applied digital devices.
Customers who receive the digital or digital thermograph for a Fire device can also use it on the Fire smartphone or tablet.
The free digital device is part of Amazon’s push to make digital products and services more accessible to users, and it’s a response to a surge in smartphone and tablet sales that began in 2015.
The company also launched a smartphone app in the U.S. and Canada in 2016.
